PCU is authorised to arrange Home and Car insurance as an agent of the insurer Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFS Licence No: 234708 (Allianz). We do not provide advice based on any consideration of your objectives, financial situation or needs. 3. This offer commences at 9.00am (AEST) on Monday 15 August 2016 and closes at 5.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 15 August 2017 (“Offer Period”).
4. This offer is only available to persons who receive an invitation from IBIS in the form of a direct mail to participate in this offer (“Eligible Customers”).
5. If:
(a) an Eligible Customer calls IBIS on 1300 292 100 to obtain a quote on:
(i) Home Buildings, Home Contents, or Home Buildings and Contents insurance; or
(ii) Comprehensive, Third Party Property Damage Fire and Theft, or Third Party Property Damage Car insurance,
(each an “Eligible Policy”) during the Offer Period;
(b) the Eligible Customer meets the eligibility criteria for the Eligible Policy;
(c) the quote given by IBIS is higher than the price stated on the Eligible Customer’s current policy schedule for a policy that is comparable to the Eligible Policy; and
(d) the Eligible Customer informs IBIS at the time of requesting the quote that he or she received an invitation from IBIS to participate in this offer,
then, subject to paragraphs 6 to 13 below, IBIS will give the Eligible Customer a $50 VISA Gift Card within 30 days after receiving a copy of the Eligible Customer’s current policy schedule for a comparable insurance policy.
6. For the purposes of paragraph 5, a policy is comparable to an Eligible Policy only if it has a similar level of cover (including but not limited to, features and benefits, amount of cover and excess amounts).
7. The Eligible Customer must provide details of their current insurance policy requested by IBIS, including but not limited to the total premium, the sums insured, the amount of the excess, the type of insurance policy and the level of cover. If IBIS is unable to provide a quote on an Eligible Policy that is lower than the current premium payable by the Eligible Customer on a comparable insurance policy, then the Eligible Customer must provide a copy of their current policy schedule for the comparable insurance policy to IBIS in order to receive a $50 VISA Gift Card.
8. This offer is only available for quotes obtained over the telephone (by dialling 1300 292 100) and is not available for quotes obtained via any other methods.
9. Usage of the $50 VISA Gift Card is subject to the terms and conditions set out on the following website: http://www.giftcardplanet.com.au/visa-terms. Any ancillary costs associated with the use of a VISA Gift Card are not included. Any unused balance of a VISA Gift Card will not be awarded as cash.

IBIS reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each customer (including a customer’s identity) and to decline the issue of any VISA Gift Cards to any customer who the IBIS has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this promotion. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly over the telephone may be deemed by IBIS to be ineligible for the offer. Failure by IBIS to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. IBIS’ legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

15. If your concern or complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can contact PCU’s Dispute Resolution Officer via one of the methods listed below and an internal review will be undertaken. If the Officer is able to resolve the dispute, he or she will promptly notify you in writing of, and giving reasons for, the outcome. The Officer will normally resolve the dispute within 45 days of the initial complaint being lodged.

16. Police Credit Union is a member of the Financial Ombudsman Service, so if you are not satisfied with the outcome of the dispute, you can ask for an external review by this independent body.
